I'm more interested in the new wishbones, are they longer than the old ones ? Sure they look, or maybe narrower ?

Looks like you can swap them and have 5 mounting positions for the shocks, kinda unuseful but still interesting... A bad point IMO are the molded balls for the ARB, when you broke one, you have to change the wishbone (or swap it, lol).

The new front hubs looks like yokomo ones, the length between the turnbuckle and the king pin is higher and thus the steering is different (have a close look).

Too bad we didn't have a close view to the new rear hubs, but I guess they're much like the alloy ones...

If this new suspension is compatible with the old ones, then we might want to try it on 414's, 415's and other TB Evo's and TA04's...

I belive that the rear arms are the same lenght as the old ones (exact the same lenght as Tc3 arms). The front arms are longer than before (Tc3 again) and new front hubs make it possible to mount the shock farther out on the arm just like the "reartower up front" on the Tc3. The Evo 4 looks almost identical to the prototypes Hpi used at the worlds two years ago and that car was really good.

That car looks great. Pity they have had to resort to a alloy one way gear though instead of changing the design of the oneway. Still it looks like evo diffs etc will fit which is a result. Placing my pre order for one asap. Rick

Looks great! Did you guys notice that the drive shaft is now 46mm instead of 42mm like EVO3 and 415? Does this mean that the suspension arms are longer now?

Yeah, ..after borrowing a friends EVO!!! for a few months i've come to like that platform, with the exception of a few minor things... most of which have been solved with this rev.. my have to add this one to my collection...

I'll probably get mine when they come to the US. Of course it'll be sometime after an official Japan release, plus time spent on a boat, and then into Tamiya USA's hands. It may be a while :(
