I replaced my Hobbywing 3.1 with a LV, but I can't find any power even close to the Hobbywing 3.1 with it.
What do you mean by you can't find the power?

I run TC's but have both versions of the BD's

I´m using the LV for 2wd.

Try these settings:

Mid

Start rpm 5000
Start timing 14
End timing 23

Top

Top rpm 12 000
Delay 750ms
Top timing 32

8kHz forward frequency.

Used indoors with a 8.5T motor.

Best thing with this controller is the great power and the smooth control it offers, imo.

Thanks! I will try this.

What gearing are you using?

I will run the LV together with Reedy 7.5

Is this with 81/21 gearing?

What timing do you have on the motor?

I guess we just have to wait for the android app so it'll be a lot easier to tinker it with smartphones than having a laptop around. I just hope Per will consider having the iOS platform.

Cheers to all.
where did you get that?

Nash, you looking for some BD's? I've got two of the newer ones upgraded to the latest firmware (so they're user updatable) along with the USB bridge I'd probably be willing to part with.

Little known fact is that Kyle Kingforth won this year's ROAR nats in 17.5 sedan with a (borrowed) Black Diamond.

The ESC still has the most amazing throttle feel of anything out there. Its brakes have always been too weak for me though. I haven't tried the software with the separate drag brake, so maybe things are better.

I got mine upgraded and never ran them. They have a cool prototype fan harness on them.

I'm pretty sure you can buy them new directly from AE.

Did you ever get to try one with the adjustable drive and brake frequencies?

I'm still using mine.

Briefly. I didn't give it enough time, but I had trouble making it feel like the older software that had such a great throttle feel. The main issue at the time was that drag brake wasn't decoupled from some other setting, push brake I think. I guess that's fixed now.

I don't have time these days to test everything under the sun, so I just stick with LRP. Now days I try to maximize track time by fine tuning the things I have that I know work.

Bought this from the site. Programming is a breeze now. Per told me they're developing an app (mobile) to utilize its usefulness more.

Cheers.
