interestin deal. my black diamond is set up on a new radio. although the issue was present on old radio. go through the calibration for throttle,brake and neutral and goes well, but when I get out of calibration. I have no brakes and no red light on esc. Any ideas? tried it 4 times now.
Oh, fyi, I am on bd tuner 3.9

Hello everyone,

I won one of these when they first came out 7-9 years ago. Is there anything I can do with it? Has a new one come out? Very ignorant to what is possible with this as I ran it in oval a few times switched to touring car and let the black diamond sit on a shelf ever since. lol Any help would be greatly appreciated

The design hasn't changed. But the early versions couldn't be updated via a PC.
If you return it to the manufacturer it can have it's firmware upgraded so it can be changed via a piece of software on a PC.

I know a few guys who love it in blinky classes.

I just went thru the steps again with the manual in front of me. After done programing, there is no red light on esc when I hit the brakes. my radio shows the brakes are active on display, but esc does not show it. I am running it in blinky mode with brakes in mode 2.

Sounds like it might be faulty.
Just double check all the radio settings etc.

I used Skiddins email link and got a response within 24 hrs. He made a few suggestions b4 sending it in. (cking epa settings) and while looking thru the radio I noticed the brakes had some how ended up on channel 3 instead of channel 2. Oh Duh.........
yeppers, she's up and running fine again! I'm now officially a happy camper!

Now I dont have to use the used hobbywing xr10 stock spec I just bought,lol
