I think the very early version was for 1/12, but the later versions are compatible with 1/12 (allow for receiver pack attachment etc)

The delay between the mid timing and high timing now acts as a timing 'ramp' between the two instead of a simple delay.
There is also the drive frequency adjustability
Brake profiles have been adjusted as well.
I believe there might be some other bits I can't remember

Sadly I only got three races out of the latest firmware before I blew mine up

The advantage of the latest bootloader type firmware is that any future firmware releases can be upgraded by yourself.

I have been running the latest update. Exactly what I had hoped Per would come up with. Complete control of the top timing ramp. The previous update gave fantastic feel in the brakes. This is the complete package now. Simply perfect, perfect.

Should get my repaired BD and another with update back this week. Then I get to test again.

Unfortunately you need firmware 3.4 onwards to be able to update firmware yourself. You'll have to send yours back to Sweden, unless Mike at Modeltech can do the upgrade

I just bought a BD with v3 in it. Does these speedos work good on offroad. I run a sc10 2wd blinky 17.5 and mod 7.5.

They are supposed to have a very good feel in blinky (i've never run blinky)

For Mod you might need a small fan on top, but they don't get anywhere near as how as a lot of other ESC's

Remember to run a low profile in Mod.
