How did you do tonight?

Chris.

Lots of newbie mistakes at the beginning but got better through the afternoon. The 12L4 is looking real good.

OD,

Which is this one OD, your 20th or 21st 12th scale build. I should let you get your hands on my monkey

Rev,

it's all practice with 12th scale, a lot of people suffer from trying too hard, 12th is something that comes to you.

OD,

If I didn't know you were already crazy, I would question your sanity.

I started making all carbon damper tubes, sold the first couple of sets today (ok the ball cups are plastic). Crashby seen my proto a couple of weeks ago, he is already wanting a set, I'm running my proto sprung versions, work well for me.

I'll be visiting for a little while on Wednesday evening OD, hopefully I'll catch you there for a little while.

Chris.

Sanity is a relative thing.

I know about the carbon tubes, of course, I'm just letting you get into production before I place an order (#40, remember?)

I'll be there Wednesday, barring any unforseen circumstances.

We sent some to our distributors last week. So they should have them by this coming week. Have your shop check it out mid week.

I'm form the Netherlands and the only 1:12 scale tires that are easy to get are from Corally,
but they have different rims that won't fit asso style cars.
And I don't want to race A Corally, because everyone here drives it.

I'm in Holland 2.
I get the tires for my L4 from Viol, about an hour over the border in Germany. Nice track there 2, it's where I race 1/12th in winter (summer is outdoors pro10 for me)
Viol sells Calandra tires. Those are Jaco tires on Calandra's extra stiff rims. They work fine, and Viol sells them for a decent price.

I know people who have been running the airtronics 94145 with a 7.4v lithium reciever pack for a while and havn't had any trouble.

t fource setups

Does anyone know where I can find Mark S or Eli's T fource setups? Or does anyone have a good carpet setup they can share?

dakrat 02-06-2005 02:58 PM

is there any damper tubes conversion for the rc12l4 that u guys know of?

jbrow1 02-06-2005 03:16 PM

I've actually thought about running a 7.2 volt rx pack. Get better specs with the servos. Never tried it yet though, as my servos are good enough as is.
