I've used it both ways. It's faster with the servopack, but works fine off the BEC.

try setting your throttle trim so that the car rolls in neutral. You have to hold the brake on to stop at the starting line, but it will help you maintain speed into the corners.

brakes

"Break" is when you hit the wall.
"Brake" is what you do to not hit the wall.

Hadn't gotten to that issue yet...

Were you at Stockton today?

Cyrul, Blackstock, and them run the 949 on 6 cells. It's the only servo that can take 7.2, so don't try it on any other one. I learned that the hard way after Cyrul told me not to do it on my Airtronics but I did anyways, lol. I like it on 5 cells in mod, and just off the BEC in stock.

The 949 is the servo to get for 12th scale hardcore racing.

Hi Rev,

Sorry I didn't get much of a chance to speak with you tonight, very busy with new customer and a few old ones too. Will you be dropping by again soon?

Chris.

Hey Chris,
It's was really cool meeting you and thanks for showing the Pro Trak. Man that machine rocks. You're very popular there. Yeah definately I'll be back for more 12th scale racing. I need more seat time.

Rev,

You are welcome. Hopefully next time I'll have some time to chat a little more. (also hopefully my car set up will work better)
How did you do tonight?

Chris.
