Luckily the CEFX and the Trinity Speed 9 are.

Has anyone had any experience with any of the Hot Bodies for 12th scale (they are IFMAR approved)

Oh man, yes I've ran the Toyota on small carpet track. It seemed pretty good but it's been quit awhile :weird:  But I remember it having good rear bite, more than a Speed 8. Of the three shown on your link, it's probably the best bet.

take care

how do the trinity speed 9 and cefx bodies compare on asphalt?

Looks to me like CEFX and CRC are the best bet? Both unknow to me but you don't have a lot of choice. The new CRC looks very good. Josh has shown the CEFX is good.
Does IFMAR allow the use of wickerbill's (sp?)? Always an easy fix for rear traction.

Here it is:

The Trinity body works pretty much like the Parma, (since it's almost an exact copy).

Thanks. Any expereince with the CEFX on aspahlt?

barrys 10-04-2004 12:35 PM

the CEFX is considered by many to have more steering than the Speed 9

Obviously, it will be what Josh will be running

Ah, 1/3AAA that is...........thanks, that is exactly what I want to know..and actually, 0.99 each is good price, I will email him and get them from him instead...

Believe it or not, beside my 12th scale........I need some of those to POWER up my AMB personal............I have a micro that has no 2nd input from the receiver, so I have to find a external power for the AMB- personal............can anyone tell me what is the minimum voltage that AMB required...? 4.8V or less (or more)? Thanks

in a word yes! its more adjustable and easier to drive... and the best part is no tape!

jas1 10-04-2004 02:45 PM

cant you just use a y lead, gives you 2 outputs from one
