pheyhoe,

In UK you cannot rule out a Corally either. Great car with good support in the UK, ask around on UK boards for Andy Griffith (aka Griff). He is a top racer and a fantastic person.

Later, Phil...

Super Steve--Car looks good. Just don't forget to use shoe goo if you are going to moung you rservo flat. I recomend that you do though.

Super Steve 04-24-2004 02:12 PM

hey adam,
When you do mount servo to the chassis with shoe goo, how far up are you suppose to do it?
As far as it can go up front?

Adam Hartzell 04-24-2004 02:44 PM

I mount mine so that the corner of the servo case touches the inside rear corner of the right arm.

guys,
is it possible to fit a large stealth diff ring on to the normal axle assembly?

Super Steve 04-25-2004 10:01 AM

does dynamic and oldskool use same bearings?

(same axle size?)

The inner diameter is different on the normal (small) diff rings and the large ones. Regardless whether they are "D-style" or not.

well, i bidded on this thing and won, i was drawn to it by the amount of tyres/tires you get with it.

i am not sure how old this car is but will it still be fairly quick?

this car could have been made in the 80s for all i know, lol

Its a good kit but you will need to upgrade your axle the the new three bolt hub unless you use TRC wheels.

pheyhoe 04-25-2004 02:53 PM

is it just the axle or the hubs aswell???

Adam Hartzell 04-25-2004 03:57 PM

The axle is fine just the hubs. I would invest in a large ring diff from Irs though. Its $50 but well worth it.

pheyhoe 04-26-2004 03:08 AM

i will look into that, the car is all paid for now and on its way :)

cheers for all your help mate.
