Hello,

Where can I get info on how to hook up a receiver battery to my new CRC 3.1?

Thank you

Nick

nnick: it is very much like nitro. The tricky part is findind out if you need to remove the POS wire coming from the ESC to the Rx.

You then use the switch on the Rx pack and not the one on the ESC to control power to the car.

Here is what Frank said in the CRC forum. New t-bar car huh???? hhhhmmmm

CRC does indeed have a new conversion kit to convert a CRC 6-pack or ASC 12L3 to CRC's new inline 4 cell design. The new "T-Fource" conversion features adjustable battery position, "no tape battery retention system" (if you must tape, we have included slots), and of course our race proven "Uni-tune" rear suspension system (springs and dual aluminum tubes). We have a new crossplate that alters the body mount position for addition rear traction. Two kits will be available, one with the chassis, crossplate and battery retainers (to convert a 6 pack), the other is the full conversion including the parts mentioned above and dual tubes, rear springs and top plate.

The "T-Fource" is being tested and we should have conversions available at the US Indoor Champs in Cleveland. As usual, count on CRC for a competitive price and very high quality.

The "T-Fource" will be available as a full kit in August 2004. Photos soon....

Also new at the Champs;

CRC Bloody Knife 3.2
CRC "Tube Lube" Light and heavy
CRC's new large "D" ring diff.
CRC's Soft Dual front Touring Tire - Magenta/Orange

For $160 it was probably a six-pack with blue aluminum lowered rear pods. As far as the conversion where to get it will be at your local hobby store, intyernet hobby store or CRC direct.

Where can I find rollout charts for 48 pitch gears?
Jeff

Why damper tubes are better than damper buck(disc)?

speedxl 11-12-2003 10:08 AM

disaster the quad 12 conversion is 100 bucks for the 12l3

caveman: This is all my opinion from racing a 12Lx on and off for like 13 years now (10L's before that), but they are inconsistent, the center rod can loosen and be a pain, they get in the way (don't know how many I've hit with a soldering iron), etc. Dampeing tubes are more consistant and don't loosen up like disks do, plus they make more sense to me because they go the same direction of the side-to-side forces and motions, if that makes any sense.

when I was playing r/c then , i used aluminium damper disc post they never came loose
