in considering of selling my L3 and getting a CRC carpet knife, but im not sure which one to get...the red aluminium 4 sell saddle pack version seems to be the only car ppl race at my track, theres also a blue aluminium 6 cell t plate version which is a lot cheaper and i like the looks of that car but only a few ppl race with it. which version if better and which one should i get?
thanks

Both cars are good so go with your gut on this one.

Adam,
I sent you a PM earlier. Have you seen it yet? I'll send you another PM with more info on the kit.

tuning a chameleon 2 pro

anyone know what the stock brushes are in the chameleon 2 "pro" any suggestions on spring/brush combo's? Just noticed it's laydown style.

speedxl 11-11-2003 12:57 PM

i believe they are the 4499's e brushes.

James Nguyen 11-11-2003 01:28 PM

It might also be the new 4505 Cross cut brush 99+. I've seen some come with these as well as the 4499.

cracked123 11-11-2003 02:44 PM

definately not cut. 4499's cool thanks.

Adam Hartzell 11-11-2003 03:16 PM

I think that by cross cut he means that the serrations on the brush are at a 45 degree angle.

Disaster, I would wait a lttle longer before buying another 12th scale. They are going to release a new Carpet Knife Version 3.2 I think if I am correct on this (I could be wrong). Go to the CRC website. People are talking about it in the forums. I drive a bloody red six pack and I feel really comfortable driving this car. Just my .02 cents.

new CRC cars

CRC will be releasing the CK3.2 in Cleveland, along with their 4 cell T-Bar conversion kit.

disaster999 11-11-2003 05:05 PM

ic, well...their cars cost a lot, the reason im looking into the 6cell configeration is because its cheap and it got springs and t plate set up..more set up ablitly! i dont feel like paying for a 12th scale car the same price as a touring car!

429racer 11-11-2003 05:09 PM

They have a conversion kit for the 12L3 to be converted over to this new T-Fource car. So then you would not have to buy a whole new car, just convert your 12L3. I am sure it will be reasonably cheap to get the conversion kit compared to a new car. Anyway you go Good Luck!

429racer 11-11-2003 05:10 PM

Sorry, I should say a conversion for the 12L3 to be converted into a CRC T-Fource 12th scale car.
