A flat servo over a angled servo will produce what....? A little more Camber gain, and a bit of a different ackerman feel?

Mark, Generally the steering feel is more immediate off-center with a flat servo. Servo flat set-ups also have a lot more bump-steer than angled set-ups. The bump-steer actually adds mid-corner steering, but can make the car a little inconsistent on bumpy tracks. Pulfer has been running servo flat, I've been running angled. It's a personal preference thing. Try it and see what you think.

The Gen XL will work great on asphalt. Depending on how well prepped the track is, you might need to go one step stiffer on front spring, and step softer on the side springs and the center spring.

that's interesting, i have been struggling with a very high bite indoor asphalt track. is this the situation you meant would benefit from stiffer front and softer rear?

i was going stiffer and stiffer front and rear to get more linear grip. what would you suggest with the gen XL layout?

Default Sensor Cables

I'm new to this aspect of the hobby and need some help sourcing a sensor cable. I am trying to connect the LRP Vector X12 8.5 turn motor to the Novak Havoc 1S ESC. Any recommendations? I don't know the length yet because the car has not been built (12R5). I suspect somewhere between 4-6 inches. Are all sensor cables like connected so that they will work with any motor/ESC combination? Is there a standard for this?
