..actually, i am looking for the ones like the serpent, where the nut is ONLY on the bottom for support, and i can use body clips up top...the corally looks like u have to use that fairlly large nut on top w/cap as well...thanx tho..found the serpent post, but they dont have the nuts in stock, wonder if the corally's would...lol...what a mission?

Where should I start for rollout on a 5.5t 1s?

Around 55 mm - depends on motor, track, driving style, etc.

The concept of the Serpent posts is great. Unfortunately, the actual product is very brittle and they break very easy. I went through three sets on my Serpent before switching to the regular style body posts.

I don't like the Corally posts either, too much screwing. It just gets annoying.

i thought about getting a die and cutting threads on a standard body post. the only 'problem' i could see is the sharp cut in the root of the thread.

I agree, the Serpent body post is really bad quality.
The Corally post is fine, but not at the front of the car. The BMI post is really good.

Hey whats up guys I just thought I would share my first "custom" with you. I looked in numerous places and tried to find a brushless pod that would work for this car. It is a BMI that was custom biult a couple of years back. I do beleive all of the red is from a CRC though. Anyways tell me what you think. If there are any suggestions let me know. All I need now is the 1s saddle and I should be god to go. There are pics of before and after in my flickr thread. I do still have some finishing touches to make though.

I'd watch with the rear pod assembly that the Left Pod doesn't have any flex, with milling it in half, it takes most of the support of from staying tight, and strong.
