What do you guys think of the Jaco dual stage tires for 1/12th Black front Yellow Rear the black is a tick harder than purple and the yellow is a cross between white and gray what do ya think on these tires?

I dont run Jaco tires but I know that Black is the same shore rating as Purple just a different type of foam and it doesnt heat up as much as purples do. Purple can have too much bite into a run so you run a black front tire and they stay the same for the whole run. Yellows I dont know anything about Im sure someone else can help you with them.

WTB 1/12th Car

Hi Guys,

I looking at getting a 1/12th car.

I just want a rolling chassis only. I have motor for the car and now just need to get a car.

I live Australia so the price I am looking at buying one of these pocket rockets is about $150.00 AUS which would include postage to Australia.

If you have a car the you have raced and want to sell it and it is in an ok condition, Then please PM.

Thanks
Chris

Kevin is right on about the black fronts.

The yellow rears are white compound foam wraps....white compound foam over the Jaco wrap core.

Black and Yellow wraps will run like Purples and Grays but you can run them bigger without traction rolling. This will make the car more mellow to drive which may or may not be faster.

I use the CO27 for both 12th and TC. Lovin' it.

Hey, Adrian!

Where do you get Jaco black and yellow wraps? I have heard about them off and on for the past year. They are not listed on the website. I am beginning to think they are just an urban legend.

They exist. At the sizzler at trackside a driver was running yellow rears from jaco.

Actually Yellow Jaco foam is in between a white and a Gray. Its the same as a BSR Pearl. It comes in standard foam as well as two stage (wraps). Its something they started playing with last year but didnt fully release it....

I use to like the monster stock. This past weekend I ran the x-motor and the co27. We found the right brush spring combo for both motors to make them scream.

What motor did you like the best? X-stock or the CO27? I would think the X-stock would be better

It is funny the weekend before, I liked the Xmotor better and and this weekend I liked the CO27. I felt I was lacking some infield punch so I switched to the CO27. Took a little off the trailing edge of the brush and geared it up and it was the ticket. The Xmotor is still a really good 12th scale motor. I probably will stick more with the X. I'm getting ready to run some 19T now.
