Agreed, you really don't need much torque for a 1/12 scale servo, but speed is always good. And I also agree that Airtonics' 94145 is about the best there is for the application, & it's more affordable than the digital servos. Also, Hitec has their HS225MG which is useable, but it doesn't seem to center itself as well as the Airtronics(but it's cheaper, so if you're on a budget or need one in an emergency, it may be a good choice)...Oh, & as I thought(& said before), Trinity is NOT the exclusive distributor for Gold Peak, they get them in the exact same way as everyone else. I think that's why we're seeing such good cells from most ALL of the big matchers on these cells, as well as MUCH better prices for them(no middle man to mark up the price). Like I & others have said, it's a great cell, so we should use it(& who cares if ROAR approves or not? Most of us never go near a track that follows those rules to the letter)...

Another servo to check out is the JR Z3550. its small light weight and very fast. its smaal so you have to re-drill a hole if you run an associated car

the airtronics i have had great luck with. it has lasted me all last season of racing stock, and 2 months so far of racing mod, and it still works great.

i have heard that the jr's can last 2 weeks or 2 years, but the airtroinics are longer laster overall. and for $60 they are a good deal.

Hmmmm.... I must be lucky, this is my 3rd year on the JR with no problems

litespeed-dom 11-18-2002 01:20 PM

I used my JR for good 12 races too... and when I started 1/12th, I was hitting everythin and it's still working now. Just the last race last season, I switched to a KO digital...ala Masami!!! :D

i got my pan car today, i guess it was a decent trade, althought he gave me a 27mhz receiver and im only 75 anyone wanna trade, its brand spanking new and hasnt been used, all i need is a 75 am one

but its for sale, rtr without batts and charger, hopfully i can get a charger soon, has a light speed motor, and an duratrax intellispeed forward brake esc, motor needs connectors

but back to the subject, i have no clue about thses things, i know they dont take a stick pack, and it dont seem to have a battery holder, the rear of it has 2-3 graphite peices and 1 aluminum motor mount, i think the little dampner shock could use a rebuild

when i buy tires do i have to buy new rims to?

anyone have old tires, i realy dont care what shape there in, i just wanna run this thing, i hook it up and it was fast, i was using 2 sided tape as tires hehe, but it didnt last long till it came off,

any help would be much aprreciated

other pics of my car can be found on the 1/10 forum hehe i didnt know the difference
