scottirk

wasn't disagreeing with your statement on incentives to cheat on batteries.
on batteries, i was just stating....more or less that the factory ratings on the wrapper may not truly always truly reflect actual milliamp rating.

example:
recently another cell in now in the fray IP3800 (Infinite Power). they look like they have some high voltage outputs.Danny/SMC has stated these are actually a 3600 in another RCtech forum.

my original issue was with the sudden ban on 2-stage/wrap tires. supposedly they can reduce laptimes up to 3+- tenths or hundreds of a second. wow that's way less than 5% and it's sudden frontline issue. Cost...to me not a issue. i only pay $3-4 more for them.

2 stage

For the extra cash do you get more useful life out of a two stage tire?

I just started racing 1/12 last year and I'm hooked. These cars are fast and for the most part way cheaper then the 1/10 sedan(nothing against sedan) And while everyone talks about making heats longer because of the new batteries I'm on the driver stand hearing 3 minutes down five to go  Now if I could only convince everyone they should ditch their sedans and join the fun.

2. What will removing the T-bar brace do to the car's handling? How does it compare to using a softer T-bar, or removing the third screw on the T-bar?

anyone?

T-bar, the middle third screw is usually removed to increase rear traction, alignment shouldn't be a issue. however your t-bar is more prone to break from a hard hit/crash

brace across the t-bar mounted above the pivots? i don't run one doesn't seem to hinder/help. was told it was there to reduce chassis flex and prevent the shifting/tweak of the t-bar/pivot mount screws.

I love the Mobil 1 paint job.
Where did you get the sticker set?
Are the stickers external or internal?

Has anybody tried a brushlkess motor with LiPo cells in a 1/12? I want to try it. I also have a spektrum system. What issues have i got to deal with?

I know i will need something to reduce the voltage to the servos as the spektrum doesnt reduce it. What else?

Cheers
