I'm running a CRC 6-Pack and I find that 0 toe is perfect on asphault with purple dot up front and green dot tires in the rear and the 0 degree caster blocks. The car has so much steering and traction, there is no need for any toe up front.

Do you sell painted bodies, or was this just a favor for Dennis? If you do sell them, how much?

BigDogRacing 09-05-2001 09:29 AM

Psycho- Thanks for the info. The setup sheets on teamcrc.com don't have the toe settings. I assume they use 0 toe also. Bodies- yes I sell painted bodies. I only do custom paint jobs, so I don't have any already painted. You can see some of my paint jobs if you clik on my website link in my signature. The typical paint job starts around $40, then you add extra for 3D art, headlights and window trim is a little extra, and my cost on the body plus around $6 for shipping. I give breaks for multiples of the same paint scheme, and for returning customers

Thanks for asking!,

Six Pack Setup

I'm getting back into 1/12 scale after a few years and would like to know where to start with setups for the following races and equipment:

4 cell

P2k or Green Machine

Indoor asphalt flat oval - NASCAR Taurus (no LTO cars this is low key)

Indoor asphalt road - GTP body

PIIHB! 09-07-2001 09:09 AM

I dusted off my CRC CK 3.1 after I ran it only one time! The car was great but the 12th scale turnout was low that day. I am not going to race it until the indoor season when the big crowds come back. :(:o ....can't wait....

I have been running the andy's mercedes body. How do other bodies compare?

I think i will get a 1/12th soon...

is the 1/12th pan car faster than a 1/10 F103RS??
if they have the same motor...

Taz_S 09-08-2001 01:35 PM

you use the same motor and batterys that you use in TC/Off-road so for the size of the 1/12 it can be very fast.

What springs are you guys using in your carpet knife, front, middle and the two side springs??

BigDogRacing 09-10-2001 08:38 AM

Sponge,
.020 front
silver damper spring
white tweak springs
Use Losi hydradrive fluid for the side dampers
Later,

Big dog, was that for carpet or asphalt????

BigDogRacing 09-12-2001 08:29 AM

Oval,
It's Callandra's suggestion for asphalt. You should use pinks and purples for tires on asphalt too. I think for carpet you go up to the next heavier dampner spring, but I forget which color it is. You can go to www.teamcrc.com for a couple of their setups.

FastAggie 09-12-2001 11:15 AM

What do you think of running the CRC 6pack, 4 cell, with 3 batteries on the left and 1 on the right for oval?

ovalnator 09-12-2001 12:03 PM
