Car is Original Mission.
I would run a spool. If you have enough traction, run a little shorter wheelbase.

Do you need to buy any extra parts to make it work like for the FK05 or RDX Carpet Spec?

They won't release another car in 6 months again, like Xray?

I have been running Xray but I am tired of having to get a new car every 8 months or so. So I am ready to try a new car.

Looking forward to trying the new car.

Thanks,
The car is supposed to be released in 2 to 3 weeks, if no problems. Read back a page or so, I think they gave a tenative date.

You will not need to buy anything extra for this new car. They will be fully optioned out.

They are releasing the foam spec car at the same time I believe.

Just come down to the Coliseum in Frederick with Mudvane and enjoy the heat we have. never a change in track temp from Summer to winter. Don't forget the 17th. we should have a large crowd on hand. Its so smooth we are now running 1/12th. on the asphalt!

Racing at the "C" was awesome...can't wait to come back.

Bob I would try the one way first...see how your lap times are and then try the spool. Spool will probably be faster but it will put more wear and tear on your car.

Concerning the EC. Is there any plans for BMI to gome out with towers for that car? What about a chasis? If they are, i would rather either wait or get the cheaper kit and swap out the parts.

I'm sure once Jason gets his hands on an EC, he'll start working on a chassis kit for it. However, I don't think you'll be able to get a regular Mi2 and the BMI EC chassis and convert that to an EC and still save any money. If that's what you meant.

If its the grey belt, then no. It won't last. Just run the standard black belt.

Nah, I'm not worried about trying to convert one to the other at all. My thing is that if BMI is going to come out with a chasis shortly after it kinda doesnt make sense to spend 4 bills on the EC. It almost makes more sense to go with the fiberglass or whatever it is that comes in the cheaper kits for half the price and then transfer to the BMI thereafter.

BTW: Schuie took another race today at Superior with Paul behind the wheel in 19T. Troy came out the hole like a bat out of hell with monsterous horse power but broke not even half way around the track after causing a small pile up ;-) Mark Burke came in Second with his "better luck RDNext time". The rocket man was also fast but could not recover from the tangle.

Weylin's Setup is is proving to be very good on this track. Ask paul for the setup differences.

I talked with Jason at BMI about this. He has been in on a lot of the development of the Mi2EC. He even cut a few test chassis for us. He said the stock Mi2EC is so well developed it will be a while before he has a chassis out. BMI will not release a product that is not an improvement over the stock chassis and he said that is a tall order for the Mi2EC and Foam Spec.

FYI, those of you who race on carpet with foam tires that were worried about our choice of a 2.5mm chassis....Paul Lemieux won Cleveland with a 2mm lower chassis and a 2.5mm top deck on his Xray.
