The EC diffs are the same as the Mi2 diffs. They just have new narrower pulleys with a diffrent offsets. All you need to buy is a front pulley

I don't know about the chassis and top deck yet...stay tuned.

Anyone know how low of a pinion you can go on the Mi2 with a 112 spur? I hope i can run down in the 34 tooth range without having to some bigger pinions.

A 31 or bigger will fit with a 112 spur.

Nope...no P-Dub bumper.

1. The chassis is 2mm because for Rubber tire Carpet and Asphalt racing 2mm is faster than 2.5mm. The top deck has been altered to tune the flex of the chassis for more traction. There will be a 2.5mm chassis and stiff top deck for Foam tire racing.

Schmacher should make two kits ,so a guy that wants to race foam with the new kit doesn't have to buy a 2.5 chassis and top deck.

That would cost Schumacher a lot more. The idea of this car is to be an exact replica of the car Teemu won the Euros with. That race was on low grip asphalt (wet for much of the race) with rubber tires. So that's what the kit will be.

The stock 2 mm chassis could be sold. I am sure someone would buy them.

Herc - Paul Wynn and Fernando Gordinho will be running EC's at the Nats. Weylin is running stock so he can not run it. You can't run factory prototypes in the ROAR Stock class.

Car - The foam market is small in the grand scheme of things. It would not be cost effective to make a foam only kit. It is important to us though so we are making a chassis and top deck. This and a front diff are all you need to complete a foam car.

Fernando called me this evening and told me that tonight he ran his new Mi2EC for the first time at his home track. He won the Mod A (thats nothing new) and beat the track record for the fastest lap by 2/10ths. He had held the previous record with his previous car that he had been running for over a year.
