hey just curious what are the numbers mean (6-6.5 or 8) I still new. Just curious you meant tight carpet and opean ashpalt. what about tight ashpalt. I used to run a hight gear on my tc3 never had a problem with over heating. One guy had a bump from c to b mains. ran a high gear on his tc3 with a monster. the monster couldn't handle two heats in a row. ( nice smoke show though) I think I might try my orion core for a bit and see what she has. I'm running 767 brushes. Just had the com cut and new brushes. Just curious about the different spring that are avail.
Man I hope you guy are getting sick of all my question. I just want to show those x-ray, that the mi2 is going ot give them a run for there money.

The numbers they're posting are the final gear ratios. It's actually 6:1 ratio or 6.5:1 ratio. One thing to remember with gearing, the terminology can be a little confusing. A 6.0 gear is actually higher than a 7.0 ratio. The lower the number, the higher the actual ratio is. A good way to think of it is look at a full size cars transmission. 1st gear or low gear would be, lets say 10.0. (I don't know the exact gear ratios you'd find in a full size tranny) Go to 2nd gear and be maybe 8.0:1. and so on. High gear would be the closest to 1:1. You'll get people argue about this all the time but this is how it actually is.

There isn't an Mi3 as it stands.
Paul, what's the deal with running a Corally steering rack??
As for running with the inner ball raised, yeah that is actually a fairly good idea. It's something that we've done over here for a while.

We started running the raised camber link about a year ago with good results...Check out the BMI towers
MattW...The steering rack was orginally put on so I could test different ackermann and to eliminate the stock bulky servo saver system. I've never been a fan of the stock system and this was the cheapest & easiest way to test a different system.
Mi3...I can assure you that there is nothing yet, just a wishlist from the racers
