Mo, TimPotter:

Thank you both for the replies. Are they only available for the team drivers? Using the search on the Schumacher site none of the U2822 thru U2828 part numbers for the new springs show up.

I think the CVDs are cool but I will stick to the plastic CVDs because I will never be able to afford the $80 for those trick pieces. It has not been a problem with Stock and 19T. When I use a spool outside in the spring I may have skip a few meals to save up for something on the front.

Mo:

On your setups, are you using the Teemu Chassis for Carpet w/Foams? The reason I ask is because I seem to do great without the thicker chassis except when the traction starts to come up and then I actually start to traction roll. I am not sure if that is from the chassis flex or just my poor setup.

Leadfoot, I believe the springs just came in last week or so and the website hasn't been updated yet.

I have run both the Teemu and 2.5mm version of the stock chassis and both work great. My setup has also been run by another driver at the same track with the stock 2mm chassis with no problems. What setup are you running? You may be too stiff on the springs or need to lay down the front shocks. Also, we have found that reducing caster can reduce traction rolling also. Make sure you run a bead of glue around the outside edge of your front tires too.

Mo
Quick Q....
for speedworld....should I run low cg shock towers, or stocks....and stock chassis, or the Teemu Chassis

thanks..and one day when it warms up, Ill have to get with you or another schui guy at speedworld and get the run down on how to set up the car properly....I think that would really help me understand some of the basics in getting a car dialed in...never did that with my TC3..and I believe that is one of the main reasons I was un-satisfied with it////but the Mi2 is just to sweet a ride to not learn the basics for

Tony, my current setup is posted on www.gearchart.com . Look for the one updated on 12/28/04 or here is a direct link http://www.gearchart.com/setup/setup...20Foam%202.pdf
If it doesn't work for you, leave your e-mail or e-mail me ([email protected]) and I'll send it too you.

Hogdaddy, I would stick with the stock chassis for asphalt and it even works just fine on carpet. The low towers are a better but you'll also have to alter the stock shocks or get tamiya ones. If there is something you are wanting the car to do better, post your setup and tell me what you are looking for and I'll give you some suggestions.

We will definately get together once the weather warms up and I'll help you get super dialed. We will be at Stockton both Saturday and Sunday this weekend if you can make it down. It is 1 big race but it's run as two seperate races and then totaled so you don't have to be there both days. If you can make it down, even if you don't race, bring you car and we can look it over.

Default Race Report...

PW is at the S&N Trackside Novak Race this week.

The fist day of practice went very well. PW says he is surprised by how good his car is right off the bat. He can turn consistant lap times that would put him in the top 4 at the event. PW says Lemieux is fastest followed by Francis then PW and Ralph Burch.

After the race PW will post his setup. It's a little diffrent than what most Mi2 Foam racers have been running.

If all you need is a caster block, I will hook you up if Billy doesn't get them in, in time. The track opens at 7am and racing starts at 10am.

Do any of you guys have a scan of the sticker sheet for the MI2? I dont think superior have an seperately but i'm thinking that since most of it is black and white i would be able to print it out on sticker paper (which i have) if i had an image.
