Paul deserved the attention and the coverage, especially with how well he ran that weekend. I still can't believe how deep you drove into that 1st turn in A2 to take the lead man.
Gary: Great race coverage in this issue! Especially the pic of Jon Kerr's car from the Hitec race!

Here is a pic of Adrian from the last state race with his game face on!!

You like that big Munno Graffix on the wing?

BTW- I got my body for regionals in today but I'm out of your stickers. You have any more?

Oh I have a story about airborn from that race. First round of qualifying, Expert modified is after the MiniT class. They had put out some wood jumps for the MiniT's. After their race they went out and pulled the jumps off. Or so I thought. Our cars were put on the track and I was the first down the back straight not seeing the ramp right in the middle of the lane. Good thing is my car was well balanced and took off nice and flat and level and landed very cleanly.

I know, I remember that but I didn't have my camera ready. It looked awesome, an if I remember right only you and Don took the jump.

I'm sure I wouldn't have. They'd gotten all the other jumps off so I assumed they were all off. I guess they forgot one.

I think I've got the car ready for regionals. I made a couple changes and took a few test runs on the track at Hobby Central today and it felt much more free than it did last week. Adding a mm of roll center to the rear and softening the dampening helped a lot.

Clint- I'll see you Saturday. I won't be there Friday for practice. I'll be getting there Friday night after work.

Just look for the tallest guy at the track with his shirt tucked through the neck.

The alloy suspension blocks..the instructions for them says that they decrease inboard toe, but to what amount? 2.3 degree or something like that? Also, has anyone played with mounting the pin holes down instead of up, or flipping the front block to the rear, and rear to the front?

The more I look at this car and what it is doing, the more I find myself working towards my xxx-s setup. Anyone else who had driven that car find the setups to be similar?

I'm actually finding the opposite true as far as basic setups. I always liked the Losi on the stiffer side without swaybars and so far I'm liking a softer setup with swaybars on the Mi2. I always had 50-60 wt oil in the losi with 17-20# springs. Even on lower grip tracks. This car didn't seem to react too well to that kind of a setup. I also always ran the lowest roll centers I could front and rear on the Losi. But not on this car. I'm kind of having to relearn setups because the Mi2 does what it's supposed to do when you make a setup change instead of the Losi that was a little hit or miss. Sometimes it would do what you think the change will do, a lot of times it would do the exact opposite. The Mi2 seems to react how it's supposed to much more consistantly.

But that's asphalt Jon. On rubber, I am having to go stiffer to compensate for the chassis flex for the time being.
