i'm staring at his setup now and i think it's correct. the .75mm fr (front) hex spacer will combine with the 1.5mm of screw block spacers to yield maybe 189mm in the front. you can fit about 2.75mm/side of width spacers (either at the hex or the bulkhead) in the front before the car spills over 190 with foams. he's just short of that, at 2.25/side.
the rear of the car doesn't use any screw block spacers (except at the inverted front set to get correct toe), but his sheet instructs us to use enough axle shims to get to 189. i estimate this to be around 2mm/side at the rear hexes.

note* if you need more steering with this particular setup, i would suggest dropping the front oil in small steps, doing only one shock at a time for the purposes of comparison.

the offset of the 53's is the about equal to current jacos.

I haven't looked at seas set up but I know McGoo was running 2mm of rear hex spacers. Maybe they were sharing info? . . .

if you run stock is there a need to run the inner pulley fences on the diffs and layshaft?
Is there an easy way to get the outer fences off?

I think most are running the thick fence, but not the thin one. I set the diff pully on the purple diff bearing hodler and use my fingers pushing down to snap it off. Its on there pretty well but it comes off.
Does anyone have a briight idea for balancing an Mi3 side to side? I am 100g over weight with my lipo and a bunch of lead ion the battery side. I have no idea if I am even balanced. I suppose I could try and drill a couple holes for the Hudy balancers, but I don't think I'd be able to get them in the exact right location. I am hoping I don't have to find four scales . . .

The negative lead on the battery prohibits any more movement out towards the side of the car. Unless someone has found a way to get the neg lead under the bulkhead? I have to admit I haven't really tried to get it under there with a 90* solder joint or anything . . .

Ah..I see your sig...The Core Lipo allows you to do what I suggested.

lol . . .good ol adrian always pluggin away! It ouwld be nice if there were a couple different terminal options on the orion batteries. Good idea though. Still looking for a way to balance the car regardless of the power source . . .
