I see that some MI2 drivers use the Tamiya TRF shocks. How do you fit them to the MI2?

Is there a reason for using TRF shocks? Any problems with the stock ones?

Early on Teemu did a lot of testing of diffrent shocks to get some ideas for future Schu shocks. He really like the Tamiya's so much so that he hasn't taken them off yet!
At the Snowbirds a lot of people saw Teemus car and the next day everyone had Tamiya shocks on their cars. The stock shocks work fine.
Matt Stinson from Muli-Hobby in Canada put a Mi2 in the Sportsman A and finished 3rd with stock shocks at the Birds'.

Just do a "blind-test" at the track and see if you notice any difference between TRF shocks and the stock ones...

Xray Shocks!!!!
I originally bought them for the dampening adjustability, but then when I was building them at 3:30 in the morning to have them ready, I some how broke/stipped all 4 of the adjustable pistons, lol, but still, with the aluminum bodies they work great.

The only benefit of the TRF shocks is ease of maintainence. The TRF shocks are much easier to rebuild since they use a bladder design that eliminates the need to bleed air from them.

???, you have to bleed the AIR on all shocks, or you will get this squish squish sound and they will be very inconsistent
