xcell, i know someone who used a 3mm one yesterday, and killed it in a few runs - not sure precisely how many, but single figures i think.

xcell...I heard the same as Matt, but worse. One of our team guys tried one and it skipped brand new with a mod motor. I would stick with the stock belt or the std xray belt.

hey guys i was wondering what size i should set my shocks at?

most guys are running their shocks between 65 - 67 mm for standard shock positions.

Too long and they can cause the piston to hit the top of the body under full compression, too short and they can limit droop and ride height.

jiggamacdaddy....We no longer have a steel screw kit for the Mission, but we now have a Titanium screw kit.

RW1002 is the part number for the front pulley.

I just installed the rw pullys...WOW its the freest belt car I have seen yet. Just putting the pullys on made all the diffrence in the world. Anything else I could do to make is smother, maybe the xray belt in the rear?

On the subjuct of bearings. I use Blue Seal bearings. They are very free and inexpencive, Front gray belt barely any tention and standard rear belt soaked in wd-40, rw pulleys front and rear. my car is freeer than a tc3 with ceramics!

AE: Did you strip the gease out of the bearings when you built the car? If not, take the bearings and soak them overnight in brake cleaner or motor spray to remove the grease the bearings come packed in. After letting the bearings dry, lightly lube them with a good bearing or teflon oil and reassemble the car. Hope that holps...

Has anyone installed a fan on thier car? and did you notice differance in motor temp after running?

Thanks RacerX I did the usuall stuff already, bearing wise,a dn just need to go try it out at the track. Still having rpoblems with finding the right rgearing I am geared at 89/23 for a monster which is 6.9 with other cars I was in the 7.2 7.3's but never down to 6.9 maybe 6.8?????
