Re: Front belt on Mission

I have noticed that the front belt is very tight, it doesn't even use the belt tensioner. Is this normal? It has the standard belts on it. Any tips on making it a bit looser?
Also, what effect does useing the in-board toe in front and rear?
Thanks for helping.

I personaly like the Losi springs over the Associated. The Losi springs feel better and the car seems to work better for me when I use them over Associated springs. The Associated springs seem to get too stiff the deeper in the movement of the spring and the Losi are more constant through out the whole compression range. But what ever springs you can get or work for you run them.

Well, I hear that 20 is a little faster than the 17. But my car has tons of motor over all the other guys cars so its about the same for me. But my gearing is with the 17 so ide install the 17. What motor u using?

From the info I have collected from running the Mission with the 20 and 17 tooth pullies is that with the same final gear ratio the top speed of the car is the same. The difference is that if you use the 17 tooth pulley it will get up to speed faster than the 20 tooth pulley. It all depends on your track layout. If you run on a long flowing track, use the 20 tooth. If it is a short track, use the 17.

p.s. Garrett, you don't have motor on me....hehe.
