The Mi3 will come with the yellow polymid seal bearing that the Mi2EC came with. They are really good. So good than most of the team runs the stock bearings and never bother to install the ceramics.

FYI, they come oiled not greased so the drivetrain is super free right out of the box.

There will be a special Mi3 PDub bumper. PW will get the info out when he know more details.

Cool, thanks for the reply.

I've seen pics of the early version of the car with the LRP Sphere and DSM mini receiver mounted.(I think it may have been a pic of your car) and I saw the little DSM wire sticking up. I guess that definitely solves the antenna mount location thing.

I look forward to seeing what solution you guys come up with. Maybe something as simple as having a way to mount the antenna mount to the rear servo mount post or something like that.

I agree they are the next best thing to ceramic.

Like Randy is asking, track size is important.

I personally alway start a 7x1 at 9:1 with 12*deg of timing. After the first lap down the straight I know if the motor needs more or less gear. The most important thing I've learned with any modified motor is to NOT under gear! Once you under gear a mod motor it will over-rev and go out of balance

Had to be a 19 turn, lol, thats the one motor Im a little clueless on, but I believe most of the guys around here start around 6.0 and go from there. I'm also seeing a lot of people starting to run the new black spring on the positive brush on the 19 turn motor, might be worth a shot, I havent tried it personally yet.

I would probably start with a 6.0 for a small track. On some of the bigger tracks we run on the FL State Series we are in the mid to upper 5's with the Checkpoint Money Motor

Legend says that it was so you could look at a car's guy from across the pits and see that he was running a Novak ESC... not just some non-descript black box
