We have taken the 96t spur and made it our total priority right now.

We don't have a definite date yet, but were looking at 20-22nd of this month.

Trust me, you'll all know the second we have them

then, the cars will be shipped to randy caster (aka - randall 'the vandal' caster) , where he will properly shim and align them.

meanwhile, mcgoo's painting up shells for each of us (since jaybee's already busy stripping wires) ...

finally, the finished package will meet their owners at the race track, ready for battle.

so, what do think about this adam? can you mandate this? we'd be alot better off, let me tell you. instant demotion/suspension for anyone caught with a rat's nest or air in their shocks? what do you think?
i second the motion.

i bet a corally layshaft pulley assembly would work, with 35t diffs (so the c-c distance would be the same). and... that would help gear the car up for brushless (internal drops to 1.67). worth a try. might need a longer layshaft, which should be a piece of cake (every standoff the industry seems to be 5mm od.).

get too it.

Hmmmmm....

By thse rules I'd not be allowed to run the car....

After further review that may not be a bad thing after all...

Great idea.

How soon before the manufacturers start releasing "brushless" pulley and belt kits to drop the internal gear ratios for these wacky FDRs we all need now?

won't even need belts if you add/subract the same # of teeth. 24/32 (1.33 int.) would probably suffice. and that would get our belt off the pinion and top deck more.

wow, quoting myself. but i've said it before, i do rule. (wth)

sidenote: a 24t layshaft pulley would probably have a large enough diameter to use standard spur gears. now that's about 7 solutions in one (okay three-ish).

beat that schumacher! (but i'll settle for matching it!)

beat that schumacher! better yet, do it!
Interesting...Schu could be the first manufacturer to release a brushless drivetrain upgrade.

Then they could sell more of those 114T spurs :P
