Macro....you read my mine. Nexus and I are thinking about testing 5 cells 13.5. I really think if that can last 5 minutes, the car (feeling) will handling a little bit BETTER then 6 cells. On my Mi2EC, I always find the extra power of the 13.5 a waste....can't really used that extra power on tight carpet track. May be with the 5 cells, I can MAX out the car....

That spectrum mini receiver must be REALLY small....can barely see that on your 1st pic.

If you're going to run the LRP, here's how I wired up for 5 cell.

Thanks JON....I am still trying to figure out how to "CLEAN UP" those wires from Novak GTB....I wish I can CUT them all and solder them direct onto the speedo...LOL
Also Jon, what is the advantage of using the wider (thicker too..?) upper carbon deck...? Rubber carpet and or foam carpet?

May be I should work on the batteries...pick the dead cell out from the IB 4200 that I have = 5 cells ready.

Ran the Mi2EC at the 1st ever rubber-tire carpet race at "The Track" and qualified 4th and ended up 7th after a brutal "A" main. I have the fastest Schuie there and it was the OLD car!! If your thinking of selling yours, DONT.
I'll be running it at the 'Birds

Neither. Rubber tire asphalt. It's the same thickness. Just a double ladder bar instead of the stock single deck. I like running it because it seems to keep the car from tweaking. I don't think it's really a whole lot stiffer. Just holds better.

Definitely NOT planning to sell the Mi2EC....car is still fast and great. It will be my 4 cells Trans Am car and or foam car.
Jon...thanks for the upper deck info. I have extra Mi2EC Foam upper deck laying around and was thinking about cut it short and fit it onto the Mi3 for FOAM use...those holes are the same, except need to drill 2 more after the cut.

Yeah thanks for my beat down. Klings rubber tire EC was money tonight and had mad rip. His foam car was awesome to.

Kiaser was out early but hsi car wasn't bad for only running it 3 runs total so not sure of the problem. We also had Ticle a privateer show up with his MI3 and while he is new his car looked good so now it is just some practice at the tough track we raced at tonight.
