Hey guys, I had a question about the diffs.
How long should these diffs go in stock without needing rebuilt? I have only been getting about 6 runs before they feel like crap in stock. Is this normal?

no. i would get 6 months on them (no lie). if my setup crapped them out, i would loosen it, slip it over and over holding the spur and the opposite tire, and voila, it was cut back in. the beauty of ceramic balls. however, they should not be crapping out nearly that fast unless grip is pathetic or your setup is unbalanced.

I have the same prolbem. I have run a very loose track a couple of times but I've only had the car for about 2 months. It seemed like all the lube was gone.

I have had a few issues with the diff also.
The first time it oly laster a few runs, when i pulled it apart it seems the moly grease had entered the diff gear section, and the combination of the 2 greases turned into a type of sludge.
2nd rebuild, polished the rings again btw the rings seem very soft. used less moly on the thrust, and it lasted longer however i still cant get the diff action to be as free as other cars i have owned, on the track it feels as it it affects accelearation when not going in a direct straight line.
It feels as if the internals are binding in the thrust and concave washer area.
Anyone have any tips?

What did you do in relation to the spool outputs, wouldnt the slots be too narrow to use the tamiya pin cushions?

The Schumacher diff should last months as Seaball stated. If not; then something is assembled wrong or has the wrong tension.
Racer tip: Ditch the stock rings and switch to the non-locking rings U2408
