Jan the blades were already mounted when I purchase the kit so whether the were stretched from the factory I don't know.
With the rear end it is really free so I don't think there is a binding issue. How loose do you guys run your rear diffs. I run on ashphalt smooth surface.

Well nobody showed up for rubber tire carpet racing today, so I threw XRay 25 & 30lb springs on my asphault car, a front diff, and 2 upper decks and raced foam. Seriously no other changes to the car and I TQ'ed 19 turn by a lap. This car is pretty amazing to me, no other changes but what I listed to my Reedy Race setup and it was able to go that fast.
Unfortunately I wasnt able to stay for the mains, but with how good my car was, I kinda doubt they would have gone much different from qualifying.
lol, it was kinda funny watching my foam tire car going around the track with a Mazda 6 body.

You run double pink, double pink orange Jaco's?
Sorry I couldn't make it today. Fathers day stuff. I'll be at BCR asphalt on Saturday next weekend.

If you're having trouble with the pins on the CVD's, call up Schumacher. They'll get you taken care of. PW posted a couple of days ago what the issue was and how they've fixed it. I think it was over hardened pins or something. I have yet to have a problem with mine, but I know there's been a handful of people who have. I don't think they're going to have the new CVD's in for another week or so though.

Yep, non wraps. I really could have used a ton more steering, but cant expect too much from a foam car with an asphalt setup on it lol.

Should have just taken out a bunch of rear toe.

Hiya
What benefit does one get by overdriving the front (by using a smaller pully on the 1way or spool) , i have seen a few tamiya setups where they use a smaller pulley on the front, what benefit does this give, and how would you do it on the Schumacher?
Thanks

I run overdrive on my asphault spool setup, basically it makes the car a lot more aggressive turning in, and I feel it helps the car power out of the corners a little better as well. Check out my Reedy Race setup on the Schumacher website, the whole setup with the overdrive works really well.

Thanks for the reply randy.
Is the 414 pulley the same as the ta04 ?, also what teeth is it?
Is there any other pulley one can use, like the xray 34t one?, as it is hard to find parts for the 414/ta04
Thanks

Anyone had problems with Mi3 topdecks breaking? Last weekend we ran 2 cars (only 2nd time out for both cars) and both broke the topdecks. Mine literally split in half, while the other one still stayed together, but is broken nonetheless
We did have some nice flights, but on my car nothing else was bent or broken, the other one broke rear lower arm as well.
I have to say I have never had a topdeck break throughout the 10 years I have raced Schumacher touring cars... the Mi3 one looks a lot more fragile as well than the previous ones, but still, this came as a complete surprise. One more thing to stock up.
