I only have 4 packs through the car, so I know I can get down to 11.8 - 11.9 with alittle time and tuning. The car has so many adjustmets to play with I has going to goto Jackson next Saturday, but I'm thinking fredrick..........

I just find it odd that Schumacher was so concerned about precision, that they intentionally include tight fitting parts, but at the same time "slop isn't always a bad thing" for the ball cups.
It also seems kinda odd that people dump $80-$100+ on high end, precisely centering digital servo, only to not worry about play in the steering. And the only time I've ever had, or even seen people have an issue with ball cups popping off is in off-road. Even in nitro I rarely have a ball cup pop off.
In any case, I'll give it a try with the RPM cups, and if for some reason I need more slop, I can always go back to the Schumacher cups.

So when people see this stuff non-stop, its kinda hard to convince them that seeing their wheels wobble with slop, or seeing their camber links shift side to side while their trying to set camber, or having their steering shift while the servo isn't moving, is alright.
Like I said, I know from experience with my last car that a little slop wont hurt. So its never really been that big a deal to me. But I've also always been told that if you can get rid of slop, that you should.
So now, reading about how important it is to have the Mi3 arms and other parts precise, but the steerings not that big a deal, I'm left wondering, is slop a good or bad thing? Is it fine in some areas (steering) and not in others (suspension arms)?

If anyone wants an additional option, go with the Lunsford stuff. I use them on just about ride and they're a sweet fit. Pop on tight like the Schuie units but half the slop

Actually, the manual calls for a 2mm spacer to be glued to the yoke. There are even 2 of them included with the kit. They are black plastic pieces. I'll throw up a pic if no one else does.
