yeah, maybe. i'm telling you, this car is awesome. it felt like the best rdx, and maybe better. i've driven some awesome carpet rides (jim herrmann's, ea's, heiser's 04 car), and this thing is every bit of those.

Good. I need something for Vegas that'll make a foam tire rookie like me look like I know what I'm doing.

we will, my friends. we will. i don't want to be premature, but a good carpet setup usually works at alot of tracks with only minor tweaks. if this is so, i'll have something very special for all of you vegasbound folk. but even this setup won't drive itself.

Seaball...awesome.

The Sizzler at Scotty's Trackside should be good. Kev and I will probably run rubber tires. And you, Euge, jimn, will be running foams. Should be a blast for the Mi2EC peeps.

Setups from the Sizzler should be good for guys going to Vegas since both events are on the same carpet, same traction compound, and run by Scotty :P

Do dat.

indeed, sir.

nexus, i'm not so sure that it's going to be the same carpet this year. when i spoke to mark calandra at the indoor champs he said they had changed the carpet (for cleveland) to a more durable type, and that it was here to stay. somehow, though, the snowbirds had the same carpet as vegas. the stuff for cleveland didn't ever groove up. i was actually saucing my tires twice before each heat. hummm, you think a setup change migh have been appropriate? i kept waiting for grip, but it never came.

anyway, we'll see. i am excited about the sizzla (depite the fact that you guys get three weeks on the layout).
