TimXLB-Did I miss a Team newsflash? "We make..." Not being sarcastic just curious..are you now involved with the ownership aspect of BMI?

Hope everyone has had/will have a good weekend of racing.
Looking forward to the Novak race!!

Another question to bug you guys with. I wanted to use a shorter front camber link and the turnbuckle just doesnt want to thread any further. I have the correct one on but it just seems too long. I can only use the longest front camber link setting. Am I missing something?

There are 30mm turnbuckles....

I have some on backorder..
the standard ones are 35mm...

I tried using AE 4-40 pieces, but they were just a little too undersized to hold securely

Jim,

You must have put the rears on the front. You should be able to use the shortest link position with the right turnbuckles.

Well I just checked it. The turnbuckles I have on the car are 30mm. When they are threaded all the way in, in the shortest camber link hole I have about four degrees of positive camber.

OK-guys-I just had a racing day from hell. 8x1 and my Xray. Didnt break a thing, but clobbered boards left and right!! Tamale c-hubs-Perfect. No crap!!

If they survived today-then its all good.

I been thinking of getting the T1FK for some time now but I would like to how much difference is there from the new kit & old one.
It seems like everyone in my area has converted from losi,tc3 to the Xray I've been stumped between the T1FK or the new JRXS I am currently racing with the Pro4 & have done well but the new cars lookso smoother thru the onpower turns.

If you donlt tag the wall too much, you can use Tamiya 415 turnbuckles ... they should fit no problem and they have 30 mm alluminum ones.

Butter

No news flash, I was the one who helped with the Xray chassis(s) along with the ETC3 chassis. as for having any part of ownership...........one can hope.
we are trying to get the time off for the Novak race..........but it's not looking good at tis point as for racing we never made it to the track. spent most of the time just trying to stay on the road. it was raining and then turning to ice as soon as it hit the road. over 20 cars and trucks off the road in less than 5 miles.

RAY:
got your PM it's going out Monday AM. thanks for posting about the TAMALE "C" hubs I might be getting some soon. will call Monday also.

Thanks

Default Time for a rebuild over Xmas break

Hi guys,

Since i have a month off racing im going to tear down my FK and rebuild it. This will be my first time rebuilding the rear diff and im aware you need a special tool to do it??

Is the HUDY caster clip remover tool what i need? Also will i need to buy any spares that might break easily or will be worn when i pull apart the diff?

Also i seen some bearings for an xray on ebay for $20US are these ok to use and will they run the same as the standard bearings or should i buy genuine Xray bearings?

All help appreciated

Cheers Dave
