RC Mushroom HAD them. I was about to order one and the wider top plate and the next day they were out of stock. Check http://precisionrc.com/. They MIGHT still have them instock.

I heard from a very reliable source today that fk kits will now be around $350 street price instead of the usually $300 street price.

Does anyone know how to fit 30mm tires on the rear of the FK without hitting the shocks, and has anyone experienced problems with obtaining ride height with new foam tires (60mm). I am using the front foam shock tower.

I would just use some washers like the ones from Tamiya kits to fix the back. Most won't have that problem since most electric foams are now 28mm.

When I compress the shocks in and out they are very choppy instead of smooth, I have no idea what could be wrong I rebuilt them twice.

If anything goes wrong with your shocks, you can try those Associated ones you might got. But i would probably try and stay with the Xray since there fully adjustable on the exterior.

I was checking out someones car yesterday and noticed that was broken, he had also put a nice U in the dogbone. How often do you replace them from normal wear?

Also, I noticed a ton of flex in the arms on the FK, are those the stiffest ones they have? I'll change out to aluminum C Hubs and Hub Carriers to take out some of the flex it had going on, but it just seemed like a lot.

Yes Randy the arms are very soft on the Xray...even the medium arms.....Rumor has it that they are releasing an extremly stiff arm in the near future.

Hope so.

Is there a huge difference between the FK chassis and the carpet chassis they came out with?
