Can anyone tell me what the correct length of the shocks is for the T1FK?

Thanks, Mark.
The length of the shocks doesn't matter a whole lot, just so long as you screw in the lower mount until it's secure and ensure that all the shocks are exactly the same length.

Default Rear roll centre

Which hole is favoured by the `i know how to setup cars` guys & girls if any

At the mo i`m using the top holes fore & arft

Am i right in thinking `if i use the top holes i get less grip` cause i have raised the roll centre closer to COG

The position is really dependent upon how the car is handling and is one of the last changes you make to improve your set up. The positioning is more fine tuning, so it is better to start working on other items within the setup to get to where you want to be.

But, you are effectively correct - the lower the position, the more grip you would get, as the shocks are a little softer due to the angle.

Think more about changing the spring hardness and oil before moving the position of the shocks on the tower.
But certainly roll centre and anti-roll bar settings should be your first settings to play with (assuming your tyre and insert choice is correct).

Hope this helps a little.

No problem - you're welcome. Asphalt spring question I'll have to leave to the others, I only run on carpet Try having a look on mytsn under the Xray setups, you may even find your track listed there if you are lucky.

Cheers, Mark.

Andrew Swanson has a few setups online at mytsn.com that are pretty sweet. They use light blue springs up front and white in the back. That seems to work pretty well anywhere I go with my car.

So what's the status of parts for the XRay? Serpent doesn't carry them. Where can you get the new stuff? I'd like to pick up the ackerman extensions and the new rear camber link mount thingies.

* all other fk's in my area have the 3 hole shock tower.
Striker: I was informed the 3 hole front shock tower was released as the early FK box used. The new boxes released by xrayFK has 4 holes.

I think Take Off CS27's are the tire for the Nats.
