What 's your experience with battery positions? I used the rear position on both sides, but I have noticed that many people have the batterys all the way up front at the left side.

That's a huge track by the way. It looks more along the lines of nitro rather than electric.

hey guys got a Problem w/ the x-ray. Maybe a dumb question but here goes.
I do not have any brakes. I bought a used cyclone on e-bay and i thought that it was the problem. I then bought a brand new GT-7, still no brakes. I have a M8 and it is at the default settings. Did i install something wrong in the diff? I just not sure never had this problem b/f. Thanks for the help

Hey guys besides the braking problem this is a great!!!! car. i practice w/ the car on asphalt with a experience driver running a x-ray and tc3 he would switch back and forth. I have not race for a long time. I am very pleased how the car handles, i just bought the box of springs so i can't wait to try some setups.
X-ray great car

I believe arm sweep will give you slightly more turn in. Keep in mind that it also shortens the wheel base. Not by much, but it does.... A lot of the X-Ray guys are running 1mm to 2mm of arm sweep.......

guys....I have some more factory team pieces that I am willing to part out.
I have 2 pairs of the aluminum axles (integrated hex). These are much lighter than the evo2 axles. should only run on the rear...use spring steel on front. 12.00 per pair shipped in usa.
I have the hollow light weight layshaft from the factory team 11.00 shipped in usa
I have 3 complete sets of the stock wheels. 12.00 shipped for all 12 wheels. ****SOLD****
I still have the bulkheads as well.
This stuff will be over on the buy sell forum tomorrow...giving the xray guys the first opportunity.

If you are happy with the car's balance then it's always a good idea to place weight equally around the car - that is if you can't place it all directly in the center of the car. It's not a bad idea to use parts that are stronger if you have room to spare on weight. Also, use steel screws in the bottom of the car - still a low cg but also stronger and less chance of a piece of weight flying out in a crash.... - J. Cyrul
