there is not enough weight in the plastic pulleys to make a difference, the transmission will also spin at the same speed.

How can different (lower) internal ratio makes the shaft spins at the same rate/speed? I might be wrong.. thats why I ask
I think the reason behind the low internal ratio pulley set is just the exact same with one of the design purpose in Serpent S710 ( or it maybe the other way around, the design of T1 low internal..... that inspired the S710).

the diff will spin the same speed(as if you were using the old ratio) unless you change your final drive ratio, the layshaft pulley will spin faster than the original pulleys did, the ratio may be lower, but the gear is higher. the parts are so small, lightweight and all of there weight is in such a small diameter, the difference is negligable.

The factory kit is just a refinement of the Evo 2 with some parts that are available as options.
Short arms, ligthened outdrives and wheel axles, Bulkheads with new roll center positions and C Hub ONLY.
The car will make the official appearance on the Nuremberg show I've been told.
The description was a little loose but these parts can be seen in some photos of team cars since mid year.
The car will last for the entire 2004 season with no planned versions or models being released.
I saw the info leak a while back and even some photos of parts in this topic, but I know from a very reliable source that the car is here to stay for one year....
The parts are compatible all over. In fact as time went on I upgraded my car to the same config, regarding diffs, ratio, c hubs etc etc.
The only things I'm missing are the short arms and the new front bulkheads.
You can see them here:
Now compare that to the Yokomo SD 3 versions in 6 months

The main difference with the front bulkheads is the point for attaching the camber link.
On "normal" cars the link attaches to the suspension tower. Like this they can slip washers under the link and change roll center much easier. On the tower we would need a lot of holes and would never achieve such a fine degree of roll center tuning.
Like this the washers can be as thin as we like (well, almost)
Notice that it has a slope cut so that the camber link can attach correctly. The normal ones don't have that slope cut.

Looking at the pictures od Josh's car ( http://www.rctech.net/events/clevela.../index10.shtml ) it seems that the bilkheads are ligthened to a great extent.

Nice photos, I notice that the pivot are on
the out side of the bulkheads I guess
those are the short arms, but what advantage the short arms have over the
stock arms.

Hmm I tried my 1.77 pulley on it last night and the hole in the 1.77 pulley is much to small. Did xray revise the pulleys and i have some of the older ones?
