yea I know, I honestly like the T1R at Socal also. But, it's difficult to tell which chassis is better because the traction is high on the asphalt. The T1R will grip a bit more, but that fine line is hard to find.

I race at Showtime in Bakersfield(100 + in the summer)So i'm thinking i should get the evo II chassis.The track is med to hi traction with track temp's of 120 + so it could warp the t1r chassis,I know thats a problem with the tc-3's,thanks for the replies.

I have yet to have a problem with my T1R chassis, And I race here in sunny Fl, where track temps soar to over 130deg. and the car has always been great every time I go out with it. Im my opinion the warping factor is over rated.

hey pucho,

I noticed that both you and racenut have geared a monster stock at 128/32 for a final of 7.08 with the new pulleys. I run on a track that is 130 ft long by 65 ft wide. What size track do you have your motor geared this way, I race tomorrow and havent tried my new pulleys yet.

That was for Superior hobbies that about 120X60. It was a pretty wide open track (gas cars run there too) with a long straight.

When I raced there for the Cal state champs, it was so cold and windy, I think the T1R chassis would work better. But yes the graphite chassis would definitely work wonders for you in that heat. If you race in the bowl, then you might want to use something to protect the underside from scraping.

I have raced the t1r in constant 145 tracktemps with no problems with tweek yet.I may buy a evo 2 chassis plate to try it but at this point the tweeking issue is nill for me.If the outside ambient temp is 100 degrees I usually stick my car on a fan I use for cooling my batteries after discharge.Works wonders.Just my opinion and observation.
