o.k. Decided that a rebuild was in order this week and I figured out a few cool things as you may know I have both cars. So I built a hybrid of the two.
I figured out that you can convert the top shaft of the evo 2 to a solid shaft removing the one way bearing and replacing it with the pullies from my T1R.
Guess I should have figured that out long ago. the Evo 2 top shaft has holes in it already to do so.

This makes me very happy as I have a ton of Trinity 64p spurs and could run them on the T1R top shaft cause of the mounting holes. problem solved

how loose are you guys running the belts in stock? as loose as possible? or does that take them to the skipping point?

what are you guys gear a monster at 64 pitch 120t with rubber tires and tons of straight fast track high speed sweepers.

On my T1R I run them as loose as posible and I have not had any problems with skiping.

My monster stock is gear at around 7.08 That's 120/36. Start with that.

RandyB-Would you want to sell just afew things from your parts bin on your evo2 lot? I could use two C-hub front dogbones, a foam front shock tower and a solid top deck. Just thought i'd try!!! Check out our track pics on The Gate thread. Give you a place to run your evo this summer!!

On Jilles', I see the white prototype pulleys. Is that it?

On Jaraj's car, I the front A-arms look a little different.

I noticed Jilles car is running the left side batteries to the front ala corally and the white pullies. Also for some weard reason the screws holding the screws holding the spur together seam unuasually spaced out. On Jurai's car it looks like a T1R with the solid top deck. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary.

Default T1R On Carpet

I am very impressed with the handling and speed of my T1R/Evo2 hybrid. Car has the evo2 everything and a T1R chassis. It is so good right now!!! It also has the solid top deck and carpet front shock tower.

If your wondering if the T1R will be any good on carpet with foam tires-I would have to say its better than the evo2. I dont know why-but the car accelerates harder than the evo2!!! I dont get it!!
