Trinity: If you think the chassis is tweaked. Remove the wheels and place on a flat surface and check. You can loosen 16 screws, 4 on the upper brace, 6 in front bulkhead and 6 in rear bulkhead. Tighten the front and rear uniformally and slowly then do the same with the top brace. That should remove the tweak.

Turn out was pretty good. Lots of drivers from the LA area making it up there. I was surprised that some guys from Socal said they were going, never showed.

ran my Xray Evo2 for the first time yesterday on our asphalt parking lot track and I LOVED IT!! Our track is seamless 2 1/2 schedule 40 pipe and the xray took a few good brushes up against it with no problem at all!! Overall, the car handled well with my somewhat soft setup on the car.

The only problem I had yesterday was while driving the car the screw holding on the right rear tire backed out and my wheel went flying lol. Has anyone else experienced this problem?? If that is all I have to fix at the track, thats a good day if you ask me.

Glad you are happy with the car. The car is pretty much a tank! Sorry to hear about the wheel popping off. Hope you are running the stock setup, it's good for parking lot races.

hey neil,

I was running pretty much the stock setup with the differences being i have the c-hub conversion, I do not have the pivot balls at all, and some other small changes.

just one quick question i noticed that the stock setup calls for 2mm downstop for the front and 6mm for the rear downstop, Have you run the car with 6mm of downstop in the rear on asphalt?? did it handle well for you?? I used to have a losi xxx-s and ran that all of last season, so i set my rear downstop at 4mm cuz i thought 6mm was too high.

as far as i know the special that included the hudy kit with the car kit was for some of the first t1s, they never had that deal with the evo2, i could be wrong though...

who here is running their xray on carpet with c-hub and foams? im waiting for the composite set to be released, lately i have been running my tc3 and like it better than the pillowball xray.

There is a different stock setup for the c-hub conversion. It calls for 1mm in the front, and 2mm in the rear. The 2 and 6mm setup is for the pivot ball setup. If you don't have the c-hub stock setup, it came with the c-hub installation instructions. Both setups are for asphalt, carpet setup is completely different.
