Do you mean the support from the steering pivot to the top brace? most people I know dont even use that brace because it stiffens up the car too much.

From what someone mentioned on the VTA thread, usually 1 piece bodies are stronger.

So, what is the hot VTA setup right now for the T3?

Some don't have the hex molded in but still work. I use the Corrally posts on my car with no issue.

http://www.stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...ns&pn=COR75703

They have different sizes if needed. Search stormer for them.

I thought you were asking because you needed to by local, if your mail ordering why are you not getting the Xray part?

BTW HPI body post set fits right in the hex on the bottom bumper plate.. and they are cheap..

One thing not to skimp on .. get the HARD foam bumper.. or make one out of very dens foam.. It will make the car last MUCH longer.

having to equip 2 vehicles, at $9 per pair of posts works out to $36 for a full set of posts for both vehicles. Figure I could save some cash to put towards setup items like springs, etc.

ok well my car was used when I got it, and I have been going through it.

to do the steering mod.. do you need any parts? or is it just a matter or re-arranging the arms?

Otherwise, I have the car with solid spool on the front - and at the moment ball diff on the rear.

I have a SpecR gear diff... now this car is going to be my TC car - so do I install the gear diff.. if so do I replace the ball? or what are you guys doing.

Also I have spring steel unis front and rear and they are 52mm .. when do you use the long or shorter arms??

anyone use the RC9894 Servo mount? I see it listed as being able to be used on the Xray T3, curious if it does work for sure or not before I buy.

You have a link to the servo mount you are referring to? I don't see it anywhere. No luck with google either.
