IRS still sells wide axles. Probably cheaper than extenders.

Second best way is to just use the wide hubs from IRS but the car won't be 235mm. I read somewhere it would make it 220mm or something.
Depending on the car, the front stays 200mm so you have to make something to make the front around 210-212mm.

Thanks Bumpy
On the search for a 10r5. I have a 12r5.1 and parts so it will be good to have common parts.
I was thinking of a widened pod but that will upset the pod balance. I guess a bit of weight can be added to balance the motor out.
Cut new top and bottom plates, source some 1/4" carbon rod and make a new axle and use the existing hubs.
Also down the track will make up a new multi link rear end.

To start with, what chassis do you have? I just got the IRS wide pod axle set for my 10r5 and it works great. I just had to shim the diff side out 4mm between the diff and pod bearing and get a 15mm st/st tube spacer made to go on the other side with the standard clamping hub. Works a treat. now just waiting for my front widening parts to come in from Full Option.

Just picked up one of John S's 235 wide Pro 10 cars. MAN---what a beautiful car--workmanship is first rate. I can't wait to get the electronics in it and try it on the carpet at TQ Hobbies. I'm going to go 2s but with a 13.5 as the track is a little small for Pro 10 speeds!! I'm hoping we can get 1/10 pan cars running again here in SoCal!!! These things will be FAST--and FUN--and a LOT cheaper to run than a typical 1/10 4wd sedan!!! Cost per minute of driving FUN should be a LOT less!!
We'll see--once I run some circles around the 4wd sedans!!!!

Sorry, I can't be there... I have to work. SAIL AMSTERDAM is this weekend...
#206
Awesome track with good traction. Too bad, i can't manage to go this weekend. Good luck, it should be very nice weather 25-26 degrees C.

Bit short notice for me, but will sure keep the track in mind.
285 miles, which includes Dover - Calais ferry crossing.
The chance to race on a fast high grip track, even if my car may be a bit slow with its 1s set up
