Hi M8 I am`an ungrateful git

Joking aside I found that I need a little more finger control to handle the current profile/set-up. I might then up the agrression once I have got used to the extra oomph

Well considering they do the old 'gift' trick that is pretty much the landed price, looks like he bulk bought, remember my mate just sent a 120amp back to HW which blew up, they are replacing it free of charge (inside warranty) but the maximum they charge for an out of warranty total loss replacement on the 120amp is £40 gives you an idea of the mark up that ebay man is getting, also gives you a clue to the bloody extortionate markup speed passion are making lol.

Its nothing on the extortionate 2.4G receiver prices(buy the TX & you have no choice)
HK 2.4G rx =$7 (works perfectly)
spektrum rx $65 ++

Some guys still just refuse to believe anything at 1/2 the price actually works. Keep paying those big $$$$$

Had the same issues with my EZrun 80amp in my Fusion buggy. I used a 470mfd16v cap fitted onto a servo plug and plugged into the battery channel on the reciever. Alternative is using a ubec or lipo regulater.
thanks razzor, tried the cap today and looks like that fixed it

Thats nothing on the other escs. Look at the LRP SXX stock for example. Its now the slowest one, (of the latest ecs) has no firmware updates, is out of date already and costs 230 GBP! To top that off, you had to send it off twice to get it fixed right and even with that, the latest fix makes the esc even slower lol!

Would the bigger 8.5 run cooler than the 3850 size 9t?

Default 120a V2

Got a good testing session with the 120a with the 518 software in 21.5 and 17.5.. I think I am going to be converted no more using my Tekin.. The speedie has a little bit more down the straights then the tekin right at the end of the straight.. feels allot smoother and has more punch through the infield... man I can't believe I putting a $250+AUD speedie on the shelf for one that I purchased for under $100AUD off ebay as a backup.. awsome.

I am running no drag brake but the speedie seems to have more natural drag through the corners when compared with the tekin.

There is one problem I found (well not a problem just a diet issue).. far out this speedie is heavy.. on a Cyclone Exotek I had to go down to 4200 batteries from 5000 with 15g weight to be on weight with the tekin rs and had to slide the battery out to its wides setting to keep the car balanced.

Anyone running this speedie without a fan.. I know it states to run a fan when using the new firmware with adjustable timing.. I just thought a 120a might be able to handle 17.5 or 21.5 with the fan removed.

Cheers
