Find the forum "rubber tires for dummies" it explains everything.

if the lot is dusty it won't matter what tires you run, you'll still slide.

What's the law on going to a parking lot and just start racing? There's a few places I have in mind that have big abandoned parking lots (old strip mall and old office building now empty) that I want to get a bunch of guys together and start racing on a regular basis. Can't you get in trouble for trespassing?

Yes, unless you have the owners permission you just can't start racing anywhere you wqant to.....

Hey, trx1, looks like your sliding problems are solved. You won't be able to bash in that parkinglot without permission. Looks like I'll have to make some phone calls too before I start organizing some parking lot races.

if its not an active parking lot, and there are no posted signs for tresspassing, and your not trying to run a business off there land, just some parking lot fun, nobody is going to bother you, and even if the owner did drive by and was furious cuz when he was a kid a bunch of R/C toy car bandits terrorized him and beet him up the worst that would happen is he or a cop would just ask you guys to leave.

Unless he decides to press trespassing charges, then you would enjoy 3 hots and a cot! :sneaky:

Check out http://www.asiatees.com I'm sure they have it in stock. Just out of curiousity, what's the advantage of having an aluminum steering rack besides looking good? I know the regular ones tend to bind, are these that much smoother?
