Fan Cooling

Why not just use a traditional small ac fan or dc automotive cigarrett lighter adapter fan, then you can cool your motor, batts, and electronics, & maybe you to on a hot day.:)

If I run a rear block... R 3+2
And run Losi rear carriers that are 1.5

Will I have 1.5 degree of rear Toe?

Thanks!

Somewhat of a late answer...

I do not know Losi rear hubs too well, and the few times that I did use them, I used 0degree hubs. I wanted to try different rear, outter camber link locations. I know of 0, .5, and 1degree rear hubs for the Losi, but this is the first I have heard of 1.5degree rear hubs. When you install these hubs, make sure they are "backwards"(Left one is on the Right side, and Right one is on the Left side, because you want to get rid of toe), and then you will have 1.5 degrees of rear toe.

Another thing to note...
When adjusting the toe with the suspension blocks, you are also altering the wheelbase. So by having these 1.5degree hubs, and the R-3+2 block on the rear, you will end up with a "shorter" wheelbase, and 1.5degrees of toe. There is another option to try, R-2+2 with Losi .5degree rear hubs(again installed "backwards"). This has a "longer" wheelbase, yet with the desired 1.5degrees of toe.

colling fan

The fan is mounted on the car.
And to follow up the ae heat sink fan will work when connected directly to your battery, and it runs a lot faster.

cooling fan

For those same fans you can go to affilated electronics and buy them for $1.35 per fan or $13.50 per dozen.
Do you have a web address or some way I can get a hold of affilated electronics ?:tire:

Congratulations in Advance!
Track time is the best advice! First off--get a RPM WIDE from bumper for the TC3, will save you a lot money later on.!

This is the bumper you will need. The foam bumper is part of the kit.

Bubbles, thanks...

you use the outer holes with the losi hubs, right?

bubbles 07-01-2004 01:43 AM

I used the outter holes, and one of the good things about those hubs, is that you can also adjust the height of the ballstud(vertical). Eye balling everything, the inner hole on the Losi hub is close to the outter hole on the Associated hub, but they have a slightly different height. I forget if you have to raise the ballstud, or lower it when using the Losi hubs, but they're not EXACT.

When driving the different hubs, I noticed that the Associated hubs make the car slightly more edgy than the Losi ones(when using the outter hole on both hubs), but the car would rotate better through the corner.
