thanks for the info. i've ran at his track several times, last year the carpet was coming apart, then we ran the new outdoor track which is great, i'm excited to run his new carpet. we'll see you on the 10th!

Thanks Dave and Proficar, I'll look into it more...:sneaky:

Trackdesigner71: Are you asking which holes to use to mount the cam to the motor? If so, I like to use the outer hole on top for stock, and the inner hole for mod...(just standing the motor up for the solder leads...)

Too bad my graphite did not come in today:flaming: . I was hoping to have my new parts ready for tomorrow.

Actually I was wondering if installing the motor on the TC3 is anywhere akin to installing it on the T3 or the B3.

Have any of u tried the IRS chassis conversion? How does it compare it the Warpspeed?I know the warpspeed has an upperdeck and the IRS has a lower Brace.

Brian McGreevy 01-03-2004 09:03 PM

IRS = very flexy chassis

Warpspeed = near zero flex, very very rigid, different design than TC3 with exceptional handling.

Chassis

Where can you go about getting the warpspeed D2 chassis for the TC3? I'm just wondering.

Thanks,
etzkev

Brian McGreevy 01-03-2004 09:24 PM

Send an email to [email protected] to order and go to www.warpspeed-racing.com to look at what warpspeed has to offer.

If you're going to be racing with foam tires on carpet I would highly suggest getting the Demon 1 instead. It seems to be much better suited for that application than the D2.

etzkev 01-03-2004 09:27 PM

Oh, ok. How much do these things cost though?

Brian McGreevy 01-03-2004 09:40 PM

A Demon will cost ~$190.00. Now keep in mind that this is THE BEST grade sheet carbon fiber that will ever be in an R/C car. It is extremely stiff, and of very high quality so it is very expensive as far as carbon fiber goes. This price also includes a carbon top deck, nicely finished and milled aluminum battery brace, a machined aluminum motor mount with top clamp, all the standoffs for the chassis & battery braces and top deck, and all the extra hardware needed. PM me if you have any more questions about details of the car, and I'll be glad to fill you in :).

Brian McGreevy:
does anyone in the region(continent) of Asia stock the demons?
i would love to have them, but it's really expensive for me to send money and to pay for the shipping out of USA.

etzkev 01-03-2004 09:45 PM

Thanks for your help, but thats a bit too pricey for me (not that I was expecting to get a great chassis for any cheaper).

Thanks again,
etzkev
