Hello, I'm going to received a ESC Speed Passion Cirtix Stock Club Race and a motor V3 MMM 10.5T.
The rules of the Championship in which I'm going to compete are very strict. Regarding the motor, I have only the chance to change the original bearings by bearings with ceramic balls, without changing the measures of the original bearings.
Finnaly I have the chance to center the rotor.
Which measure of washer have I to put in the back of the rotor to improve engine performance without loosing its longevity?
Which measure of washer have I to put in the back of the rotor if I want to get the maximum performance of the motor, without risk of breackage in a race?
Is there any other trick to improve performance?
Regards,
JoseLu

Jus let the motor as it is. Its good like that out the box.
Thats the idea about stock spec racing dont change the motor? Dont cheat.

Wire
Guys, what are the thinniest wire I can use betwen ESC and engine ?
Do you think it is possible to use 16 ou even 18awg ?
The combo is a simple Cirtix Stock Club Race 10.5 wired actuallly with 14awg and 12 awg to the batery.
The intention is to reduce the forces on the pod of my 1:12 pan car.
Thanks

I'm Looking at getting either a revention pro or a revention stock esc. I've had a look at the manual online. Both state they are suitable for a minimum of 4 cells Nimh, however, the maunal also says "Do not operate the ESC at voltages lower than 6.0V or higher the 8.4V battery, damage to ESC can result'.
So which is it?

so a booster can work on the Reventon Pro now? You got a link to instructions on how you have to wire it up to use it?
It really is irrelevant what i plan on using with it. (BTW, it's for 6 cell Nimh 2wd buggy w/17.5t).
The question was what part of the manual is correct. One section states that it can operate on 4 cells (4.8v), and another says that operating below 6 volts will cause damage. If the latter is correct (ie. <6v=death) then there is every chance this may occur using Nimh packs, particularly since they are older packs. If so, i will look at another brand. If the speed passion esc's can be safely operated below 6 volts (as stated by the claim of operation on 4 cells, then i belieive i have found the speedy im after.
