Hey All,
Just put an order in for a V3 1cell (Been wanting to try one for a while - Because they are so light) I race 17.5 open TC and was wondering how will this motor differ from a regular V3? I see it has a lower KV so I will start with adding a tooth or two... Other then that any suggestions? Which reminds me, I read on here that the 1 cell had a higher KV... I just looked at the manual online and its much lower... Which is correct? Cheers Phill |

Can anyone tell me the performance difference between v3 17.5t competition motor with zero timing and the specific v3 ultra stock motor.

Hey guys,
I just bought a 10.5T Speed Passion V3 for my Xray T3. I started with onroad racing 2 months ago and a 17.5T boosted Speed Passion motor since that's the class most guys run. After 2 months I'm the fastest guy at the track that runs 17.5T so it isn't really exciting for me anymore (and 17.5T doesn't have enough bottom end imo, it's way to easy to drive for me). I'm looking for a good starting FDR for indoor. The track is about 14m*30m. The other tracks I drive on are about the same. (Currently, I drive with a FDR of 6.4 on our track with a 17.5T boosted motor and it's pretty close I think.) |

Anyone got a boosted 1/10 touring set up for the 4.5 MMM? Would it be similar to the Marc Rheinard ETS v3 4.0 boosted setup from ETS but reduce all the timing by about 10 degrees to account for MMM's extra timing?

This software, will work on all GT series ESC...2.0 and 2.1 both...does not matter which one, both works. It will NOT work with the older V1 or V1.1. It will not work with the new REVENTON one. And now...once you have the software uploaded to the ESC, you can always change to other software that you prefer to have...for example, you can load NO TIMING 508...then load 205 for mod, then load 323stock for open stock or 119 mod for boost mod...then back to 508...you can always change software. What is the difference between 119 and 323 ?
i actually run the 323 with an x12 4.5 octawind, and it s realy smooth. If i switch on the 119, what can i expect ? Is it wotk with boost/turbo like the 323 ? or is it like old software with supercharger 1-2-3-4-5-6 etc... value Thanks |

I was just concerned that updating to the latest stock software on the ESC was something you couldn't back out based on how the instructions were worded to me at least. This is for my 8 year old daughter so I want something I can tune if needed with boost (classes here are just full mod), but wasn't ridiculous. right now I believe its 205 mod on the ESC. |
