so what is considered a "safe" stock software to use on the GT2.0 ESC series that you don't have blow up concerns but still get some boosting benefits, etc?

Hey guys,
I just bought a 10.5T Speed Passion V3 for my Xray T3. I'm looking for a good starting FDR for indoor. The track is about 14m*30m. The other tracks I drive on are about the same. (Currently, I drive with a FDR of 6.4 on our track with a 17.5T boosted motor and it's pretty close I think.) |

But you should be fine running 323_Stock, just go conservative with the settings and work your way up. |
Hello Everyone,
Just had a quick question, is it possible to run the Speed Passion GT 2.0 LPF without a fan on the heatsink if running 13.5 pro stock with no boost what so ever (I havn't even upgraded my ESC since I got it) I race in England, indoor carpet. The temps can go between 2° to 20° celcius, I'm asking this because if it's possible to not run the fan, it will save me some space for electronics :D Thank you:) |

many thanks. is there noticable performance difference from 1 cell motor on 2 cell to a normal motor on 2 sell? and the sportman motor, is this slow?
thanks |

Hello all, new to the forum and also new to the brushless system
I am currently running a 13.5 MMM SP motor on a tekin RS pro for 1/10 TC. Was wondering what would be a good starting gear ratio for 13.5 boosted. Also is it true that I should not run anymore than 64 degrees total of timing advance? and is the ballend timing on the MMM calibrated to the software timing? ie. if I am running 11 degrees on the motor - then I shouldn't run more than 53 degrees on software thanks for the help |

Tekin will allow you to run full boost and full turbo (75* total) but I am not sure that their settings are actual full degrees of timing. 64* is just a guideline that Tekin states, most people I know run more than that plus some motor timing. |

If boost is actually that good and safe, ROAR will keep them running for stock. And there will be no blinky mode.... I would say, use our setup on the SP site, they were all tested, but they are no garantee the fastest because you might use different motor then our driver does and also different track, different layout and different condition. |

As promised, here is my setup for 17.5T boosted using the LRP X12 motor and Speed Passion GT2.0 Pro with 323Stock software.
That LRP X12 is really a pain. It gets hot no matter what you do. You can gear it anywhere between FDR 6.0-10.5 and it still gets hot (100+ deg C is "normal"). You really need to find the sweet spot for your way of driving, which is why I actually post 2 setups here. The first is my own setup. I drive quite "smooth" and not to much on the throttle. The other setup is my teammate's setup. He is a lot more on the throttle than I am, so he can't use my setup. The motor(s) gets around 75-80 deg Celcius after a 5 min heat. A note for those who wish to use the LRP X12 for boosted: Use the 4-dot insert unless you want to buy a new motor very soon! |
