For fun, I did some testing this summer with supercharger timing first using 0 second delay and boost timing second by setting the start RPM to like 8000.

The car appear to be running in no timing mode in the infield as expected since full throttle was not being applied a significant amount of time. The odd part was that half way down the straight the timing kicked in HARD. Appeared that the boost timing even with 0 delay was not being applied until the boost rpm level was achieved.

Just my observations from playing around. As far as being slower than the other ESC's out there, on our big outdoor track I never was under powered compared to them and actually went slower with my car when trying one of those other ESC's in comparison testing.

Jimmy, wanted to thank you for all your help last year when I first started running SP stuff. I learned a lot from your knowledge in this thread! Looks like my switch to SP might be permanent.

I saw the add on radiocontrolzone for the new speedo.

My question is this, what SCT was that in the background? Mid motor design with saddle lipos down the middle?

is there any SP software that will add teh 2 at the same time is all i ask ? if yes, which one ? :)

I think the 323 from SP can be compared to the 211 (or the latest 930) from HW.
Turbo will only kick in after all boost is applied.
With HW 119 they work independent from each other. And turbo will kick in after the set delay.

The program card that I just got didn't come with any directions or the setting sticker for the Cirtix Stock Spec. Will it come with the speedo? What port on the box do I plug the speedo into?

Cain 12-24-2011 02:33 PM

I got my programmer lcd professional box in.

Pretty much using this on my daughters vehicle so I don't need the latest and fastest setups so my question is this,

I noticed with the latest software it says you cannot use any of the onboard or older regular card setting items. Is this permanent if I choose to switch back to an older firmware?

Also, for firmware 1.33 I see two versions available under the speed passion 2.0 GT LPF ESC download list but one of them says its for the GT2.1 only?

What firmwares that are available can work with the Speed Passion 2.0 LPF ESC?

For the programmer box itself, if I update it to the latest firmware can you still access all the old firmwares that the ESCs need?

What stock ESC firmware other than the current one works well?

Hey All,

Just put an order in for a V3 1cell (Been wanting to try one for a while - Because they are so light)

I race 17.5 open TC and was wondering how will this motor differ from a regular V3? I see it has a lower KV so I will start with adding a tooth or two... Other then that any suggestions?

Which reminds me, I read on here that the 1 cell had a higher KV... I just looked at the manual online and its much lower... Which is correct?

Cheers
Phill
